The main purpose of this study, increasing of agricultural using potential of some wastes with pyrolysis technic and investigation of effects of these materials on P using efficiency and plant growth after applying to soil. For this purpose, 10 g kg-1 chicken manure biochar (TGBK) and olive pomace biochar (ZPBK) and 0, 25, 50, 100 mg P kg-1 were applied to maize and rice plants. Dry weight, relative chlorophyll, N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn were determined in both plants. While dry weights of maize were increased with TGBK and all P doses, they were increased with only 50 ve 100 mg P kg-1 applications in rice compared to control. Relative chlorophyll contents were decreased with P applications. Total P concentrations increased with TGBK in both plants. K, Ca and Mg concentrations were decreased with 50 and 100 mg P kg-1 doses in maize, moreover Mg concentration decreased with ZPBK application. Total Fe and Zn concentrations were decreased with P applications and also Fe was decreased with biochars additions. In the rice plants, Fe concentration was decreased with 50 and 100 mg P kg-1 but Zn concentration was increased with TGBK. In conclusion, TGBK application together with 50 and 100 mg kg-1 P rates were found to be prominent treatments.
